Building Future of Physical AI Companions

Desklet Robotics is an AI and robotics company. We build the robots, the cloud software, and the school around them. Desklet OS runs voice, memory, agents, and automation. Hardware is in the Store. Academy is where students and developers learn to build.

The idea

Most AI lives in tabs. We thought it deserved a body.

The right place for an AI you talk to every day is the same place your coffee sits — not a browser window you have to find again every morning.

What it is

An AI companion that stays with you

Most AI tools forget you the moment the tab closes. Desklet is built to stay — remembering your projects, conversations, goals, and routines over time. A personal companion designed to learn, assist, and grow alongside you every day.

What it isn’t

More than another chat window

Desklet isn’t just another AI tab or a wrapper around an API. Desklet OS powers intelligent devices that live beside you in the real world — on your desk, in your workspace, and eventually wherever you go — keeping interactions natural, personal, and always within reach.

  • Present

    Sits where you already work

  • Persistent

    Remembers past the session

  • Physical

Software that lives in the room

A short look at Desklet Robotics — the companion, the OS, and the idea behind putting AI on your desk.

A cloud software subscription for voice, memory, agents, and automation. Hardware is purchased separately — it is never bundled with your OS plan.

Voice that feels natural

Desklet robots can hear, understand, and respond in real time through a complete voice pipeline powered by STT, LLMs, and TTS.

Students asking questions out loudDevelopers building voice-enabled projectsDaily hands-free interaction

Choose providers like Groq or OpenAI, configure voices per robot, and test everything directly from Desklet AI. Whether you're asking study questions, debugging code, or controlling routines, conversations feel fast, natural, and always available from your desk.

Memory that persists

Most AI chats reset when the tab closes. Desklet keeps context across conversations using long-term memory powered by Mem0.

Students tracking learning progressDevelopers working across long projectsUsers who want continuity, not disposable chats

Your robot remembers projects you're working on, conversations from previous weeks, goals, routines, preferences, and important pinned facts. Desklet becomes more useful the longer you use it.

Agents & MCP tools

Desklet OS connects AI models with real tools through MCP and external agent frameworks like CrewAI.

Developers building AI workflowsTechnical students experimenting with AI systemsMakers creating custom robot capabilities

Connect GitHub, Slack, custom MCP servers, research agents, and external APIs. Developers can bring their own tools into a physical AI companion instead of another browser tab.

Personal AI workspace

Every Desklet robot has its own configurable AI stack — identity, behavior, and tools from one dashboard.

Multi-device setupsPersonalized assistantsDevelopers testing different AI workflows

Customize STT provider, TTS voice, LLM model, memory behavior, MCP tools, personality, agents, and routines. Desklet OS gives each robot its own identity, managed from one place.

Routines & automations

Desklet robots can run custom routines triggered by voice or events — from study mode to a morning briefing.

Examples include: “Good morning” for daily briefings, “Start study mode” for focus workflows, GitHub activity summaries, and OLED smart desk actions. Desklet extends AI beyond conversation into action.

Who it’s for

Three people. One companion on the desk.

Students, developers, and everyday users — each talks to Desklet in their own way. Same idea: AI you don’t have to go looking for.

Students

Learn out loud

A companion on your desk that quizzes you, remembers where you got stuck, and helps you turn study into real projects.

“Quiz me before tomorrow’s exam.”

  • Study with voice
  • Remember progress
  • Build real projects
Developers

Build on hardware

Voice, memory, agents, and MCP tools — already wired to a physical device, not another chatbot in a tab.

“Connect my GitHub workflow to the robot.”

  • MCP & agents
  • Custom workflows
  • Prototype on a device
Everyday

Talk to your desk

Personal AI that sits where you already work. Ask it things out loud — no hunting for a browser window.

“Good morning. What’s on today?”

  • Natural voice
  • Daily routines
  • Always within reach
FAQ

Questions we actually get

From the alpha group and the waitlist — lightly edited for length. Tap a question to open it.

About the size of a coffee mug — 96 × 96 × 38 mm, 280 g. It sits next to your monitor or on a shelf. The 4-inch screen is for the eyes and the occasional status read-out, not for browsing.

Voice, wake word, and short-term memory: yes, fully offline. Long-term recall and any cloud-based tool calls: no — those need network. We think that’s the right trade. If we ever flip the default, you’ll be the first to know.

Yes. Desklet OS exposes the inference pipeline. Swap in a different Whisper variant, a different TTS voice, or a different chat model behind the same API. We ship sensible defaults; we don’t lock you to them.

Desklet Robotics is the small team building the thing. Desklet OS is the software that runs on it (and, eventually, on a couple of partner devices). The hardware is one expression of the OS — and is sold separately.

We haven’t priced the first shipment publicly yet. It will land somewhere between a high-end mechanical keyboard and a mid-tier monitor — not “two months of rent.” Waitlist gets the number first.

Q4 2026 for the first batch. We’ll email a small group on the waitlist in early Q3 with the real details — price, pre-order window, and how the rollout works. No marketing emails between now and then.

A small team in Islamabad — hardware engineers, ML folks, and people who got tired of yelling at chat boxes. We answer email from this domain.
